-- ingersoll gender center --

"Ingersoll Gender Center is an organization by, and for transgender and gender nonconforming people that provides mutual support through peer led support groups, advocacy in navigating resources, community organizing, and education — all in the pursuit of our collective self-determination."

Ingersoll is one of the oldest organizations by and for transgender and gender nonconforming communities in the United States. Officially formed in 1977, Ingersoll Gender Center has been building community, connecting folks to resources and advocating for our communities in the Puget Sound region for over four decades.

-- seattle children's --

Seattle Children’s Gender Clinic cares for children, adolescents and young adults:

  • Whose gender identity is different from their sex at birth

  • Who do not identify with traditional definitions of male or female

The Gender Clinic accepts new patients age 17.5 and younger and provides gender-affirming care to people up to age 21. That means we:

  • Fully accept and treat each individual with respect.

  • Give each person personalized care.

  • Follow current best practices for transition-related treatments.

  • Refer you to surgical treatment, as needed. Seattle Children’s does not perform transition-related surgery.

-- planned parenthood --

Planned Parenthood health centers are open to people of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Whether you're transgender or cisgender, you can visit your local Planned Parenthood health center for STD testing, birth control, physical exams, other sexual and reproductive health services, and referrals. Find your nearest Planned Parenthood health center and learn about the services it offers.

At this time, only some Planned Parenthood health centers are able to offer hormone treatments for trans people. The best way to learn about the services available in your area is to call your nearest Planned Parenthood health center.
